There will be a MAJOR VA training session given by Mary Davis for District service officers for Area 1 and 2 beginning at 9 am

Refreshments will be available and a light lunch depending on our finances.

Department of Washington Legion College

This year's course will run from Sept 10-12 at Post 127 in Bothell WA.

Dept requests District to identify 2 primary and 1 alternate candidate.

The foll criteria apply:

1. Active wartime service during Lebanon/Grenada, Panama, or Gulf war -8/2/90 to present

2. Identified as a future leader in the American Legion Organization

3. Best represents and adheres to the principles and mission of the American Legion

4. Has not attended a previous Dept Legion College

I have the application packet which must be completed and returned no later than July 1, 2010
